What you see here is a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II. This car is a one owner that was purchased new in 1965 by my grandfather for my grandmother. Soon after that, he passed away during the same year. She kept this car in tip top shape and serviced on a regular basis and kept all documentation of this which is still with the car. It was driven daily until 1990 when she wrecked it. She then gave me the car with the agreement that I would fix it. For years she would ask was I still going to repair it and I would tell her when I have the time that I would. Well I am sad to say that she passed away about 3 years ago and never got to see the car repaired. I have recently decided that I will make the time to repair it and have taken it out of storage. What you see here is what almost 20 years of setting will do to a car. I found out that when she wercked the car, she had a box of Rock Salt in the truck that slammed the rear of the seat. the rust you see in the interior is from this. Note- Never leave Rock Salt in a car as it will eat it up. I have made a promise to myself that this car will be repaired and put back in its original condition. Keep watching to see how it goes. Oh, I forgot to mention that this car is all original with a 273 V8 Engine with an automatic.
