Work I Have done to the Nova

Weatherstripping

I put new weatherstipping on the doors and Hatchback. It was a real job on the hatch. There were holes in the hatch where the weatherstipping went so i had to sand everything patch it then paint it again.

Carpet

When i bought the car The carpet wasn't glued down or under the firewall. So i tore everything out and sanded then primed the floor. put down some insulation. Not a perfect job but my first time putting carpet down.

Not sure if the carpet went all the way back but the guy cut it before me.

Here are some pics of the trunk after I patched some holes and painted with 3m rubberized undercoating.

Hatch Supports (April 26 2009)

I noticed the hatch supports had some rust.

I sanded them down with a drill with a 3m paint scrapper. I put some Jb weld to fill the holes. I sanded again.

I hung them up and painted them with a metallic paint.

Thats the drill i used and i was finished with that. I am pleased with the results.
