After I pulled the vinyl roof off(notice the hole)

Captain0069's 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo This is my donor car with new frame. My old frame had quite a few weak spots and I wasn't willing to part with it for something so minor.

Captain0069's 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Self Explanatory

I bought the car back in 97, It was my first Muscle car. I let it go WAY too far before I decided to fix it.I'm planning on putting Air bags in it and some 18X9.5's for the rear and 18X8's for the front, Cowl induction hood and smooth out the bumpers so there are no visible carriage bolts. Possibly shaving the handles and locks. I'm saving up for a 427 big block and a T56 tranny. I was originally going for an LS1 but I just found a big block for smokin deal and cant pass it up.

These are the rims I have decided on, I'll have the centre caps engraved with the Monte Carlo shield. I haven't fully decided on the colour, but I'm thinking of doing a 2-tone Black on the top and Burnt Orange on the bottom. Burnt Orange was the original colour of the car.

Nice Monte Carlo ! Good luck with the restoration...you'll have it back to it's former glory in no time. How are the floor pans and trunk ? It's great to see the good old muscle cars being saved. 5 stars !!
