The stereo in my ride was the original one that came with the car in 1985. It worked fine but it was an old casio analog radio and tape deck that would only play out of one speaker at a time. At this time, I don't really need a high end system, more like something to get me by. I did happen across a deck that had a hardline input to the rear, a USB input, and a SD card reader for cheap so i decided to upgrade. Here is the before and after.

Ackphooey's 1985 Subaru GLOne of the 6x9's sitting in the back. They will get mounted and wires hidden when I finish the interior in the rear.

Overall, its nothing to win any awards with but it sounds pretty nice.

Here are some other easy things I did.

Steering wheel as it came with car (dog sniffing it cause he thinks its poop)

Found the middle pad/cover at the junkyard that fit but, yea, gotta impress the dog and he still thinks its poop.

New steering wheel installed! Notice, no dog thinking its poop! Mainly cause i didn't give him the chance! This car is not subject to the the whims of a dang dog! What kind of Baby Blue Car Driving, Pink Electronic Thingy Carrying, Small Dog Lovin Dude do you think I am anyway?!

OK back on topic! You can also see the CB Radio I installed, do I use it much? Nope. Sure its nice when offroading to talk to the other guys but why did I really install it? See next pic!
