So this is my 1996 Pontiac Firebird as you already know. It's an automatic and it is a project in the works (not even close to bieng complete). My parents bought it for me from my neighboor really cheap. I was pretty bumbed to learn it was an automatic but i am grateful and i still love it just as much. I'm 17 years old, a senior in high school right now. I also take auto-tech classes, working on getting a career in the automotive feild and i'm excited for the future.
I have huge plans for this car but they will come little at a time so please keep checking in as i continue to update its profile. But it takes a long time for me to save enough money to get the right parts im looking for so if you dont see any upgrades then dont think i have forgoten or given up just remember that im only 17 and i want to do this right so much patience is needed. thank you
Just a heads up my plans for it revolve around it being a street tuner but while keeping it all american at the same time.
The bumper was green when we first bought the car, half the reason why it was soo cheap ($1800) was because it was involved in an accident and had a couple problems with it including the bumper, the wheels were no good, neither were the fog lights, and some more tiny problems as well. I wish i had taken some pictures before i did anything to the car...
the 3800 series ll v6.
SLP cold air induction kit.
Fiber glass ram air hood.
From the back, ractive exhaust.. its not a TRUE dual exhaust because we cant afford the true kit with the 2 cats.
18" Dale earheart jr. killers. it was NOT easy or cheap to find american racing wheels in black. these cost us about $1800. and they were on "sale"
the interior isnt top priority right now, all original
bucket seats = comfortable
