So the canvas for this project is a '92 Previa LE that I've had for a few months. My intention is to go VIP but first I thought that it should be quiet like modern luxury vehicles. So the interior was gutted and RattleTrap sound deadener was laid.
The sound was still too much like a cargo van for me even though I knew that it wasn't buttoned back up nice and tight with all the trim. So sound insulation laying around from a home project went into all the side panels. Unbelievable difference!
Now even though I am customizing this is still a family van for me and the fam. And since everyone felt the need to spill something on the carpet I felt that it needed to go. Needed easy clean-up plus the wow factor. So in went laminate wood flooring.
