vettie1218's 1976 Ford Mustang II   vettie1218's 1976 Ford Mustang II  I have 1976 mustang cobra ll that has a 66 289 that is built it has a lunati cam with a 602 lift, roller rockers, keith black pistons, all the components on the motor were set up for nitrous, which i got a 100 shot,,next i got a c4 trans with a 3500 stall and 4.10 gears, the car luckily had traction bars,,but i still need some slicks,,i painted the hood scoop satin black,i also painted my front air dam satin black, i added the hood pins, and i painted the grill satin black, i also added the grill parking lights with the splitter off a ghia,,next will be the header panel, which they have a longer nose then some of the other years,,like the cobra ll.i am gonna make a billet grill, which i will post some pics of me doing.i am going to install an 8pt cage,,i have a brand new carpet, a b&m shifter,i'm going to be relocating my battery to the back and putting to nos bottles back there to..i put in a brand new winshield..still have lots of work..

I would like to add in that i have fiberglass front and rear bumpers,,the rear seats are gone all the carpet is gone in the back even the plastic in the back, plus i have a little 289 in there,,i'm going to be gettin a fiberglass hood, hatch with lexan, and fiberglass doors with lexan..

I painted the grill, headlight buckets, scoop, and air dam satin black, i also put in the hood pins, i putin the turn signals on the grill off of a ghia, after i redid them..I also have a 88 cougar xr7 which i will post a few pics you can see the front nose it has a 4'' cowl a 86 mustang motor that is cammed up,,and i will also post some pics of my last 85 mustang gt with t-tops..vettie1218's 1976 Ford Mustang IIvettie1218's 1976 Ford Mustang II

hello there, the car was a drag car 20 yrs ago. been sitting in pieces for 15 years. it was already tubbed when i traded for it. the hood was also already on. if you notice in the pics, there is now cowl panel behind the hood. it is fiberglass and all one piece. the motor and tranny have also been moved back.
