This is my never ending project but also my daily driver.

This is how the car looked like when i first bought it minus the rims.
I saw this on craigslist for sale or trade,it wasn't in my best interest because it had to many little & big problems but for some reason it caught my eye,I felt that it was calling me the longer I look at it,I knew it had potential and maybe It needed a second chance with me so I went ahead and swapped cars with sasco in the mr2oc forum.Straight body,clean title thats all I cared about.
I had to drive all the way to santa rosa to buy this turbo x-brace which is about an hour 1/2with heavy traffic,as soon as I got home I painted it and put-it on. The second day I realized that I had to protect my investments and bought an elite viper alarm.it said on the box(no dares come close)hahaI also removed the intake manifold and cleaned the insides and got rid of those filthy gunk that resticts the flow and painted te valve cover red.

A major tune up was done the same night after i got this car such as oil change,fuel filter,tranny flush,bought a new oem airbox,ordered a stock dual exhaust after i found out the exhaust that it came with had a leak,replace valve cover gasket the old one was cracked ,re checked timming,took off the unknown generic intake with a subaru intake elbow ,cleaned the interior and the top engine bay got rid of all the gunk ordered some 4-1 ebay headers,tighted a few loose bolts everywhere and put bolts on parts that was missing,took of the fake sparco steering wheel and put on a stock one with out airbags,painted the valve covers ,the day after I spent 150bucks for a lifetime alignment at firestone and got it aligned back to specs,its funny how I bought this car i met the guy in the morning to look at it and had agreed to take the car as soon as he gets it smog,as soon as I left I went to the dealership and started buying oem parts for it.The same night I called Ron up and said(fuck it il take it as is).got the car started workin on it.

Just finished wetsanding &painting my car @ 4-08-09 now its all black instead of the unique
and funny two-tone.

6-1-09 when i first got this can the block and sub frame was filthy with oil but now it looks alot better
I cleaned the engine bay and under chassis more than 10x to get it to where it is.

look what I found! I got rid of the bullshit ebay shifter my car came with
my car would always grind on 2nd and 3rd I kept blaming the syncros
now theres absolutely no grinds its amazing what a BnM short shifter kit can do for you
its rare and discontinued and I have one hahahaha

When I say(I take care of my car)i really do this is just for my car,As you can see I never miss out on my oil change,check out my oil collect from classic to modern.regulars is in the bottom top part is synthetic.
8-14-09 Just finished the first coat,I decided to roll my car w/rustoleum gloss blass finish.
it has allot of orange peel and some soft spots and a little bit of runs but not to worry it will all goo away after the wetsanding part,And after that i will be doing the buffing part.

The first run was a dud It was a hot day and I left the ac runing pulled a 112.Second and third run a consisten 116.2 at the rear wheels,MODS ARE:knn panel filter,4-1 header,timing advance to 13 degrees,1 week old spark plugs,Dynoed only on 87 octane @210+k mileage motor.This just shows how your car could be If you maintain it well.

Replaced my old tein lowering springs with another new tein S-tech springs
Tanabe sway-bars front and rear full set
TwosRus front reinforcement plates
swaybar tabs on the rear struts were reinforced to prevent from breaking of
new oem rotors for the front(not yet installed)
(Preformance friction) pads for the front but (not yet installed)
interior door panels were painted (black)
distributor o-ring was replaced
new cap & rotor for the ignition (not yet installed)
bought some used silver axis touring cup wheels/I will paint it flat black soon
engine under chassis was pressure washed and degrease scrubed with a toothbrush 4x
(new) clutch master and slave cylinder replaced on around january

bought a (new) pair of inner tie-rod coz the old one was loose

bought a used cowl hood coz it was missing one when I first got the MR2

car,this is the one located in Fremont south grimer,I heard allot of good reviews on this place so I didn't hesitate come here.

May 11 2011 removed fenders to clean up the bullshit leavers and check for any rust but as usual no fucking rust.

May 12 2011:Just finished sanding and priming the trunk jams I couln't stand the nautical blue paint,next I will prime the engine bay ounce I do my clutch job.

6-1-2011 rockchips in the lower fender! which will eventualy cause rust problems,sanded it down to bare metal and added a fresh coat of,self-etching,black primer,rubberized coating and black paint.



Sometimes in July I decided to go TORCH RED from a c5 z06,
its a single stage ppg from maaco,I did the prep such as wetsanding the the car down and spot priming areas where it needed to be,I have always wanted red and 90% of my past cars were red so eventualy I had to have red.
