Well I picked this 96 Subaru Impreza up for a DD and it was in bad shape. Wires showing on the tires, interior painted a funky green color, carpet stripped out, seats ripped to shreds and the trunk was completely stripped out except for a wore out spare tire. It came primer grey and has some sort of a body kit on it. With that said, it has a very strong running engine and a clean sounding header back OBX-R exhaust. I am going to enjoy kinda of putting this car back together and try my best to make it a clean ride.

Accomplished List

-Throughly and vigoriously cleaned the interrior

-Removed/Sanded/Vinyl Painted the all of the center console

-Taped up old seats

-Purchased/Installed seat covers - $4 buck each, Oh Yea gotta love Clearance items

-Retro fitted newer shift boot and purchased new shift knob(One that actually stays on!!) - $10

-Mounted/Balanced 4 New Dunlop tires. With with a slightly wider tire. 185/60R14

To-Do List

-Finish sanding/vinyl painting the rest of the interrior pieces.

-Purchase/Install vinyl dash cover material

-Purchase/Retro-fit a rear seat cover.

-Repair the integrity of the cab. Stop the small leaks.

-Purchase/Install carpet in the cab.

-Purchase/Design/Carpet a new rear deck.

-Purchase/Install new rear deck speakers.

-Purchase/Install new door speakers.

-Maybe learn how to Tint by tinting the rear and door windows.

-Sand down all exterior light fixtures and remove traces of green paint

-Begin wetsanding entire vehicle ready it for new paint(Goal: Midnight blk w/red trim)

-Sand/Prime/Paint wheels (Goal: Gloss Blk w/ Red lip)

I know I'll add more later but thats all I can think of currently. Well knowing all that, here are a few pictures of how it currently sits.

If you have any suggestions or tips feel free to share them with me. I am not trying to make this car a show car by any means, that would require lots of money and besides this car would not be worth it. I am simply trying to make it a clean looking older model Subaru Impreza. Thanks for looking at my page.
