My name is Michael and I am a self-proclaimed Camaro-addict. I am trying to start a small detailing business currrently as this is one of the few things I pride myself in saying that I am pretty good at. I am not a hater on any other type of car but I have a strong preference for an American made car. I also prefer GM brands (like I said though, I don't dislike others) especially Chevrolet, and to get even more particular I have a soft spot for Camaros.
I have had the 2002 Camaro for a few months now and I use only the best (Mobil 1, Redline gear oil, etc). I have not done any modifications to the car myself but I will list them throughout the profile. I have a lot to say about her but I must restrain myself...
Below are some recent pictures after a nice glazing in one of the parking garages at UNC Charlotte.

Stripes: Unfortunately vinyl stripes; I intend on someday removing them and painting new ones

Wheels: LS1 Corvette; 18x9.5 (285mm tires) rear, 17x8.5 (245mm tires) front. I just ordered 275 tires (cheaper and hopefully won't damage my rearend as much as 285s) because my rear tires have less than 1/32" tread

Asthetics: Grille, wheels, clear corner lights, stripes, chrome Z28 badges, "Camaro" sticker in rear, "Z28" rear spoiler light, window tint, license plate cover, and lots of good old elbow grease

Even with my tires having less than 1/32" of tread, I managed to get a 13.651 @ 105.69. Tonight (4/17/09) was my first time ever drag racing. With new tires and more practice I am very confident I can get toward lower 13s. Drag racing = awesome rush!
5/6/09 I just ordered BF Goodgrich g-force Super Sport A/S 275/40/ZR18 tires for the rear. I hope that will help considering right now I have less than 1/32" tread on the 285s.
5/26/09 I finally got the tires installed. Mmmm, new tires...
8/13/09 New best time: 13.2 @ 109.9 Next time I think I can do high 12s
