This is my girlfriends 2008 G37. She has a Maxima for work and daily driving so the G37 is more of a Summer car. She allows me to modify it as long as she OK's everything. The car already has enough power for her so we're concentrating on exterior, interior, and suspension. Ok, so I changed the exhaust system as well.
So far the mod list includes: removed emblems, painted trunk push button, painted rear view camera, red tinted third brake light, tinted windows, K&N panel filters, custom rear license plate frame and mount, blacked out rear valence, upgraded ground wires, interior trim painted gloss black, Cool White interior LED's, Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs, Eibach Pro Alignment Rear Camber Kit, Hotchkis front and rear sway bars, lowered engine cover, GT Spec strut tower brace, front subframe tie braces, rear lower tie brace, 6 points rear subframe brace, 4 point latter brace, 2 point subframe brace, and a show quality detail and polish.
Here is the car in it's current state:

Before being lowered:

This is how she brought the car home. 1500 miles and a snow storm caused a mess.

One of the first thing done to the car was removing all the badges.

To fully remove all the chrome off the rear of the car, the chrome trunk push button had to be removed and painted.

I painted the rear camera housing red, covered the third brake light with a transparent red overlay, and blacked out the lower part of the rear valance. Here's a before and after comparison.

Here's how the interior looked new with the brushed aluminum trim.

She didn't like the brushed aluminum and wanted something a little different. So we went gloss black.

I upgraded the grounding system as one of the first mods.

Drivers side keyhole removal.

Also installed an interior ambient lighting kit. I made her do the work.

The interior lights got changed out to cool white LEDs.

Here is the latest mod. GReddy Spectrum Elite exhaust.
A lot of these tuner aftermarket parts are new to me. I’m more of an American Muscle kind of guy. But I am very impressed with the quality of this exhaust. The welds are nothing short of awesome.
