1 year ago i bought a stock 2000 gmc jimmy 4x4 sle for my wife and 2 kids to be comfrtable on the long trips that we ussually take. it had a blown motor but for 1100 bucks i couldnt pass it up. after getting a new motor, tranny, and transfer case for 700 bucks and putting it in myself me and the wife got into a small fender bender that would cost me another 2k once all was said and done... after taking it to a buddy of mine to have the frame straightened it still needed control arms, a hub, fender, headlight, bumber and grill... around that time i found out that a blazer front end would fit really nicely so the seach began... got the headlights, fender, and grill new for around 400... the bumper and turnsignal i got from a buddy of mine for 50 bucks... it also needed a new rim cause the stock one cracked and wast holding air... no big deal i had a set of 18s that would work for now...

i really didnt like the way it looked at stock hight so my plan originally was to lower it a few inches to fill in the wheel gap... i eventually changed my mind that its a 4x4 truck and it needs to go higher...
