NISE RANGO. THE DANA 44 ON MY DAK IS FROM A 79 FORD BRONCO. ITS STOCK WIDTH ALL I DID WAS HAD IT RE TUBED AND I HAVE A HIGH STEER SETUP ON IT. THE FRONT SPRINGS ARE 52 INCHES IN LENGTH..DON'T KNOW SPRING RATE...THEY ARE FROM A 85 BLAZER FRONT. 2.5 INCH LIFT SPRINGS.

hey hitting you back. Yes i used the stock t case. Want to upgrade to a 245 DLD later on. Rotated the front axle to 30 degrees on the pinion and set the knuckles to 4 degrees positive caster. The transmission crossmember had to be fabricated. I made one kind of like how Thuren fabrication did theirs. It would be alot of work to do a passenger drop due to the fact that durangos and dakotas have the engine, tranny, and t-case set to passenger side by two inches. You would have to fab new motor mounts. I did leave spring cause it easier to build and i had the parts laying around. As far a speed unless you doing a four link front and rear don't go more than 3 inches over stock they are way to heavy.

Love the fork-lift shot! Your statment on the M1's affect on low-end torque is correct. I was already running a MOPAR PCM that compensated for the big 'lungs'. MOPAR has since discontinued the part and programmers didn't flow enough fuel, so get with B&G to get a PCM w/a M1 performance flash. Try this guy "South East RT" before you buy the M1. BTW, explain that shot @5am in Vegas.
