Hey Everybody.... this is my 92 Chevy Silverado nicknamed "Silvierra". I bought it from the original owner which is pretty cool. He gave me the window sticker and cassette tape to explain your new Chevy pickup.... I want to listen to it but I have no idea where to get a tape deck! Anyway it is a 4x4 Z71 package w/ 200k on the body. I recently rebuilt the 5.7L 1st gen Vortec and 700R4 transmission, so now the truck is like brand new. The list of mods is short... headers, open air element, dual Flowmaster Super 44 exhaust w/ cat delete and a Motorvation Stage II chip (all this POS does is advance the timing). I also have replaced the Chevy grille with a GMC grille but here is where Im trying to be different.... how many 94-98 GMC grilles have you seen on these trucks? Tons, right? Well I decided to go a different route and put on the 88-93 GMC grille and painted it to match. Figured I have to do what I can to be different. I have also added 20's from a 07' Avalanche which are powder coated Semi Gloss black. I went with clear corners and signal lights along with new headlights w/ Silver Star bulbs and blacked out the taillights. Haven't really touched the interior yet other than a Grant steering wheel, 20% tint newer mirrors, new factory 40/60 split bench & a JVC CD player w/ an Alpine 240 watt amp pushing a Kicker CompVR DVC 10" under the backseat. Anyway thats my story so I hope you enjoy looking at my truck as much as I am enjoying putting it together....
