This is my 2008 SAAB jet. I bought it at Sewell SAAB in Plano. It's a 9-3 Aero with the 24V V6 Turbo. It's quite quick stock. I am considering some light weight wheels to replace the OE 17"X7.5" Aero alloys which are also the same as the rare 2007 SAAB 60th Anniversary Edition alloys. I have added a drop in K&N and upgraded the tires to grippy YR speed rated HTRZ IIIs. Aeros come pretty much loaded, with Bi-Xenons, Bose, moonroof, power everything, Sport Tuned Suspension, big 4wheel disk brakes, Traction Control System, etc. this one does have the Cold Weather Package(heated seats, headlamp washers, heated mirrors)as well, and Metallic Paint. It's smooth, fast, and very comfy. The V6 Turbo (one of Ward's 10 Best Motors when it came out in '06) sounds and pulls great.

M1 0W-40 every 5k miles. No major mods at this time. Lots available, i.e. 360BHP VTuner Stage 1, BSR PPC, etc. Probably will do brakes first.

Thanks for the great comments about my 944T! You're absolutely right; the 944 Turbo was really a work of art and engineering, and is probably one of the most underrated cars of it's time (if not all time). I'm not a PCA member - I live in Saskatchewan, which really has no PCA outlet, but I do habit Rennlist from time to time, and I am a member of our local BMW Club (for the car shows and track days). If you were interested in picking up a 944 T again, now would probably be a good time. With the economy the way it is there are some absolute steals out there. On the other hand, when you've had a reliable, and fully loaded car like a SAAB (which looks great, by the way) it might be hard to go back to a comparatively unreliable and spartan Porsche!

Yeah, that's a good idea. Thanks about telling me about that site. I will have to look into it. Did you see the link where that kid rebuilt an '06 Aero after a nasty crash? It's insane.
