As you can see.  I have a 1992 Toyota Paseo with a standard 5EFE engine.  I really don't care to have a fancy page, because i just want to get the Facts down.  I had another account, but i forgot what was on it.  Just recently, my engine started knocking, so i turned it off before i threw a rod or something like that.  This has given me the oppurtunity to do a complete engine overhaul.  The following will be a list of what i plan to do to the engine. Please, if any comments, nice or constructive suggestions.  Thank you.  (this first pic was before i got engine for car in the beginning, hint: the bricks behind the tires)

5/27/2009 update.  Recieved EMAIL from ManicTech in flordia and suggested AWD 3SGTE.  Sounds badass doesn't it.  currently discussing options with him on plans for project paseo.  ideas and comments reguarding this are welcome and encouraged.

6/17/2009 update.  Next week will be taking car to BEST JAPENESE ENGINES in Atlanta to install stock replacement 5efe engine.  We will be keeping my current engine and i will buy all the internals etc and rebuild it.  Then put in the new engine.  Comments and Suggestions Please.

6/22/2009 update.  Delivering car to BEST JAPANESE ENGINES tomorrow.  Will be observing the swap myself.  Going to keep my engine to rebuild with the parts below.  Still taking comments and suggestions.  And pleas don't rate on what the car is like now, but the concept and heart and money that I will be pouring into it.

6/24/2009 update.  Got car back today.  Engine is smooth and runs great.  Now i need a job.

7/16/2009 update.  Weird knocking from front driver suspension on bumps under 25ish mph.  What could it be??

10/15/2009 update.  Gew weeks ago my GF's mom inialted my driver side quarter panel while backing out.  Insurance will probably say car is totalled.  expensive dent on a cheap car.  When decision is made i will buy it back no matter what and if it is salvage, i'll buy another car.  Oh!!, and i have a job now so mods sill start coming soon.

IDEAS!!!!

Ksport suspension for tercel for rally racing instead of street suspension. MSD ignition, and a few other mods and make it a weekend warrior.  watcha think???

0-60 7.3 seconds, thats pretty impressive seeing the 0-60 time of a stock paseo is over 10 seconds keep us updated on the turbo situation. And what kind of coilovers are you planing on running?
