Hello my name is Sean and I live in San Diego Ca. This is my  1974

Datsun 260z .  This is the third Z-Car that I have had the pleasure

to own.  I have been working on her for about two years now,  most of

that time I was unable to buy the parts I wanted due to lack of money. Since I

am building her on a budget, I have been empravising and rigging up to the

best of my abilities. I have  about 15 years of backyard mechanics and

fabrication so hopefully this project Z will come out ok.  The first two I

consider my learning cars and now I want to make this 260Z  into the car I

always wanted.  I do have plans of driving her hard and fast on occation, as

well as have her be as reliable as a daily driver Datsun should be.         Seanelm's 1974 Datsun 260Z Seanelm's 1974 Datsun 260Z

{Interior} I have been redoing the interior, and it is almost finished. Most

recently I installed a JVC Ipod stereo, and Two 300 Watt 6x9's behind the

seats.  I was able to mount some tweeters at the corners on the dash.

The Seats are new, Tyoe R style racing seats.   Racing 4 point harnesser that

for now I have just mounted to the rear strut bolt.  I mounted them directly to

the original rails with only re-drilling a few holes.   The Steering Wheel is the

Wooden GT Grant, with a Z sticker covering the emblem. With walnut

Motorsport Auto shift knob, for the original 4 speed tranny.  I also added the

full dash cover, in which I am very happy with.  Most of the carpet I bought in

the roll from the local Walmart.

{Body} I have installed the Generation 2 body kit from MotorSport.  Hood pins

installed at top of hood. I plan to paint her soon so I have been hand sanding

the many layers of green and flat black off.   I am having the side bumpers

stripped and filled and there is a BRE spoiler on the way.   The rims are XXR

16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the rear.

Thank you for viewing and please leave feedback.  I even threw in a pic of my girlfriend's 75 Vette  :)
