My car is a 1977 Toyota Celica GT liftback, these cars are hard to come by for little 4 cyl. riceburners, but they are a pretty sweet little ride to have, they handle like go-karts, hugging each corner like you wouldnt believe. 2 of my friends had Celicas, one had a 76 GT coupe and the other a 78 GT liftback, so I searched around for a 77 GT to fill the gap, and I found it in Beaverton Oregon. I bought this car for $600 last year to be painted for my senior project in high school. The car was really banged up, the hood was almost unrepairable, the driver window was shattered, and the interior had been ripped apart and the CD player stolen, not to mention a hell of a lot of rust and dings, including a 3 foot long dent/scratch on the rear passenger fender. But after $1300 and 92 hours of hard work, I finished painting the car and am now working on the interior and engine, hopefully, in the future, I will have the car lowered about 2 inches, new wheels and tires, new sound system, and the engine bay will be cleaned up a bit and the engine working nice. The car runs and drives as it is, but I have not driven it since i bought it.

this is what it will look like once i am finished.... hopefully..(props to Theo for the photoshop)

this is the car when i bought it. a nasty color of brown, rust everywhere and in the pic you should be able to see the dent on the fender.
This is the interior of the car when i bought it, So far, i have replaced the carpet with new black carpet and have changed my seats to black and blue custom seats. I bought a GT Grant steering wheel which i have already installed
this is the interior now

not much of a difference but I am pleased..
