I've never heard a Trans Am guy say "Man, I sure wish I had bought a Mustang instead..."

LS6 Intake - Whisper Air Lid - EGR Removed
Dyno Tune
Thanks to Carolina Speed Shop for being the first to help me up the power.

Don't hate on my dyno graph, it is real, I had to trace the lines with pen so it would show up on the scan. Dotted lines are torque/solid lines are HP - Blue is final tune with mods.
First trip to the dyno Oct. 27th 2009
Before the guys at Carolina Speed Shop put the manifold and lid on, we ran it on the dyno so we knew the baseline. These are the first mods I've done to the car and it was putting a respectable 304 HP and 335 ft lbs to the rear wheels. SAE measurements.
We installed the lid, LS6 manifold, and removed the EGR. A second pass on the dyno and it improved to 330 HP, but dude man Kyle examined his laptop readings and said it was running a little lean or something. He tried a few different tunes on it seeing what he could accomplish. The last thing I want is big numbers that cause me to fry my motor. We settled on a tune with a good air/fuel mix and the final numbers are:
327 HP @ 5250 RPM - 360 ft lbs @ 4300 RPM
I'm thinking MAF and Exhaust next..stay tuned
Here's the installed soundsystem. The factory Monsoon system was junk.

* Pioneer DEH-P7900BT Headunit
* JBL! BP1200.1 sub amp
* JBL! P80.4 4-channel amp
* 1 Pair - JL Audio 10W3-v3-4 SVC subs
* 2 Pair - Pioneer TS-G1642R 6 1/2 coaxials
* 1 Pair - Pioneer TS-T110 tweeters
* Phoenix Gold Titanium Series 1.0 farad capacitor
* 2 Stealth boxes - Built by chevy35079camaro on Ebay
This system is LOUD. More of a sound quality setup than loud bass, but there is plenty of low end. The BP1200.1 powers the two subs, the P80.4 powers the 2 sets of coaxials and the pair of tweeters.
I've also sound deadened my whole trunk area with Damplifier by Second Skin Audio. Quality stuff, it did better than Dynamat in a comparison test I read (the test was comparing how the different products held up to heat without peeling/drooping. Sound damping was about the same). It's also more reasonably priced. Thats my plug for them.

I had this traction control plaque made by Jaison at Third Shift Studios.

I made it into the top 7 Pontiac Rides! Awesome!
