April 4, 2009

Bought the car May 2008 for $4500 canadian, it came with brand new R1 brakes and cross drilled rotors, Momo shift knob with a cut shifter, Panasonic CQ-C7105U MP3/CD deck, 2 x 12" Rockford Fosgate HE sq subs, Pioneer GM-X922 amp, ported sub box.

It had 214 km, front bumper chips, targa top leak and an intake manifold leak. Replaced the manifold and gaskets. Installed white glow gauges, removed the stock air filter box and installed a K&N cone filter with adapter to the air flow meter, shimmed the wastegate 3 washers and ran it hard till late October and blew a hg. Parked it for the winter and drove in my dodge neon winter beater.

Bringing her back now with a new Metal headgasket, ARP headbolts, 3" divorced down pipe with elbow and 3" piping all the way back, Brian Crower stage 2 264 dur street/race camshafts, Fidanza cam gears, Bosch 710N/114 BOV, HKS EVC 2 boost controller, Greddy TurboTimer. I bought a Lexus AFM too but I've read about it and I think it's best to wait till I can install 550cc injectors simultaneously.

She's currently in the shop. I can't wait to get her back. These pics were taken outside the shop before she went in.

I took these pics a week later. The head is off getting shaved. You can kind of see on the right side that the 1st ring broke off from the head gasket. More pics too come later.

April 30th

Sold the speakers and Amp and will either get something smaller or just keep the stock setup.  Those damn things were heavy!

Bought an SAFC-2, lightened flywheel (bought it used off supramania forum, i believe its from ebay) and a Innovate LC-1 Wideband Kit.

Car should hopefully be ready for May long weekend

May 21st

Bought 550cc RC injectors/clips and a walbro 255lp fuel pump the past few days.  The car is STILL in the shop.  If patience is a virtue, I dont want to be virtuous.

there is 2 different ways. u can mess with the headlight switch (hard to explain how by typing it) or turn the little red knobs under the black rubber covers (under the hood next to the headlights). i do it this way. i think its easier to get then just the way i like it. and i drive with them like that and when u turn ur headlights on then the go back up the way they should lol
