Well here she is the 3rd camaro in my lifetime but definetly the best out of the 3 lol. I have owned a 86 rs, and a 78 also but they ended up being either to much work or junk in the long run. Now I Bought this 83' Z28 about 2 years ago and am currently in the process of restoring.
The Car had been sitting in a barn in South Dakota for about a year before I bought it so alot of cleanup was in order but for the year it was in great shape. The car was originally a manual with the 5.0 crossfire engine but has since been switched to a 3 speed TH350 automatic and a 5.7L 350.
Haven't really had the money to do to much to her yet but have cleaned the car up alot and have done things such as:
1.New 1406 600cfm Edelborck carb
2. New waterpump
3. New radiator and hoses
4. New heater core
5. New valve covers and air cleaner
6. pretty much new gaskets on everything all around
7. New power steering pump
8. New alternator
9. New optima red top battery
as well as some more small stuff but this summer of 09 I will be tearing into the engine and alot of other projects so check back for updates....
