This is "My Curse". Thats the most stock picture I have handy. When I bought it, it was totally a stock Zq8 S-10. In the past 4 years, I've worked to make it look better, and a lil quicker.
For starters, It's a 2.2L 4cyl 5spd truck. Over the years, the mods list has gotten pretty long. It's lowered 2/2 on top of the Zq8 suspension, 235/55/R16 Goodyear traction T/A tires. Ws6 Style Ram-Air hood. Street Scene Speed grille inserts, mirrors, and gen 2 lower valence. Halo Projectors (black) with matching markers. Led bar, Led tails, and markers. Gm Rollpan, 20% tint on the doors 5 over 5% on the back windows."SS" Bowtie. The intake is gitted with a open element filter. The Truck has 4dr blazer handles in it, so no key holes. Custom Paint Dark Cherry Metallic/ Victory Red/ Charcoal Grey/ Black Onyx. Fiber glass bed cover...
The black wheels i picked up for the winter, and they grew on me. Over the time, it is the reason that I ended up with the paint the way it is. This was the start of the blacked out front end.
Sittin' Pretty By the Mississippi River In STL. MO.
Sittin' At Pnc Park in Pittsburgh PA.
Then in October 2007, I hit a deer. The deer demolished my left side pretty good, and blew out my window...
After the deer, I had all my body work done, did a few minor mods, like Shaved the tailgate handle, obtained a set of blazer rear door handles, SS mirrors, SS gen 3 valance, and Designed my paint job.
Fresh out of the booth
I then took her home to put her back together with the help of my guys in ELTC, she got together nice n fast!
It still isnt done, needs loose ends tied up, but then again what project is ever finished. In the future I'd like to get an LSx swap done, possibly some bags, and def some wheels. Below is the finished project, as it sits now... This Is My Curse!!
