05 srt "neon"
This is a working car. It's been driven by 1000+ 15-16 year olds learning to drive a std shift.
Yes, I consider car shows work. I'd much rather be out abusing the car and shredding tires.
Isn't she sexy? Monica's not too bad either. ;)
pg.1 still shots, mods and future mods
pg.2 action shots with event info
I have many more pics and vids on the way. Promise i'll get some airborne footage soon.(never a cameraman around when you need them,eh?)
Me, Monica and my neon.
Don't laugh too hard. Real intercooler coming before spring. I have more than enough power for the winter's rallyx season.
The new turbo kit from AGP. The turbo is a Garrett dual ball-bearing GT3076r with a .63 backside with a stainless heatshield and K&N filter . The current wastegate is a Turbonetics 38mm Evolution with a DEI Titanium heat wrapped screamer pipe. The O2 housing and downpipe are also wrapped in the same DEI heat wrap. I'll take pics of the kit installed asap.
Out getting some fresh air on Nov. 23, 09. The physical installation is complete on the new agp turbo kit. I have yet to dyno or start tuning the pcm. My fuel system is all Mopar Stage 2. With this setup, i'm limited to 16or 17lbs but that is a 16 or17lbs that is still there at redline. Agp estimates 330-340whp with this level of tuning. With added fueling, i'm expecting to see 400+whp for next years Time Attack season.

Granettelli plug wires and dodge coil pack. The mopar coil packs are much more reliable than the "red" ones.
Aluminum short ram intake that I made last week. It's a 4" aluminum 90 with a vacuum bung to pull vapours through the catch can and a 4" Vibrant silicone connector attaching it to the turbo.

Turbosmart boost tee and my big beautiful and simple 4" aluminum intake.
Turbonetics Evolution 38mm wastegate with DEI heat wrapped screamer pipe, o2 housing and downpipe.
K&N filter, Greddy oil catch can and the red thing is a coolant heater to aid in cold starting.
Custom coolant resevior with level guage and the HKS Race bov mounted on the agp intercooler pipe.
New pics of the custom aluminum rear diffuser. I did some basic research into the aerodynamic fundamentals of diffusers and then set to work fitting a cardboard template to the rear bumper. Once I was satisfied with the fit of the template, it was time to transfer the shape to the sheet of aluminum. It is very lightwieght and all of my unproffesional testing would suggest the that this diffuser combined with front splitter, wing and canards has created a very functional aero combination.

A couple quick pics on Oct. 17, 09 just before the transformatiom from track car to rallyx'r begins.

Pulled the aero, swapped the brakes back to stock(hp+ pads), raised the coils 5/8" front and 1/2" rear along with softening rebound and compression(rear dampers need a rebuild bad). I also swapped my kumho xs's for yokohama med compound gravel tires for the rallyx the next day.
VEX Performance sponsered cars. They are both a lil beat up and and even more badass because of it.
A small upgade. lol Stoptech ST-40 calipers and 328x28mm 2piece slotted rotors next to their stock counterparts.
Note Hotbits DT2 fully adjustable rally coilover with attached remote resevior. This summer I was switching between Hawk hp+ and Axxis Ultimate pads. Planning to run Hawk DTC-70's for next years time attack season. Will continue to run hp+'s out back. I run Motul 660 racing brake fluid although that may change for next year.
TSW Jarama 17x8" +35mm with 5mm Eibach spacer and studs. 255/40/17 Falken 615's in these pics. Currently running 245/40/17 Kumho xs's. The wheels are for sale so let me know if you like them.

Gutted and stripped, just a few wires, the shock remote reseviors and the DC sports strut tower brace remain. The spare tire well will also be home to a large water/meth tank in the near future.
