Bud_nd_Ash's 1993 Honda PreludeHere's my 1993 2.2 Vtec Prelude. She's slugish in 1st gear until the distinctave Vtec note kicks in at 5500 rpm then she really takes off. This is my first Prelude and i have to admit they're a lovely drive and the 4 wheel steer really helps the handling. She's currently around 200bhp with a Vtec controller. Its great when a Type R civic tries to overtake you thinking that you only have a 2 litre engine and automatic gearbox. Thats when i drop her down a gear and god she starts pulling :)

Bud_nd_Ash's 1993 Honda Prelude Here's what it looked like when i got it... Since then i've made alot of changes:)

Inside it has a digital dash with climate control. Inside is absolutly spotless!!! The gearbox was reconditioned and the engine isn't burning or leaking a drop of oil...

If any1 has any tips for getting the most out of the H22A ENGINE WITHOUT MAJOR OR EXPENSIVE mods please tell me. I know they have alot of potential.

That is a realistic goal. Shouldn't have any problems hitting that power. The only thing is with where you are located, how is easy it for you to get parts, and I wonder if they are around the same price as we get here. That will be a big influence on what parts to go with. Things like piping are universal and you should not have a problem with that, it's stuff like decent turbo's and the most important part of all is, do you know of a local tuner that really knows what he/she is doing. If you can't find a decent tuner then it's pretty much a waste.

Hey man. Thanks for checking out my page. What are your power goals with the car? Are you boosting the stock block? If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also if your planning on doing more research, come check out preludepower.com and scroll down to the forced induction section. There are several builds in there using stock block setups as well as built block setups like myself. Let me know your goals and I help you out with some choices of parts.
