This is my 1998 GMC Sierra 4x4 shortbox extended cab. It has gone through many transformations in the past 5 years starting off with a 4" Rancho suspension lift (hated it), then moved on to a TrailMaster 4-6" lift with 33" Baja Claw radials with Mickey Thompson Classic II aluminum 16x10 wheels, then moved up to a 3" body lift and a set of 35" Baja Claw radials. There were MANY MANY more modifications to which you can view on my mods page and save my redundant repitition of parts descriptions.

And my truck DOES get used....just not abused. I use this thing as my daily driver, it travels gravel roads on a daily basis, hiway driven, gets used around the acreage for hauling anything from gravel, to sheep shit...and can still perform at local car shows respecfully. It will perform offroad again at some point, but it is not completed that far as of yet.

This past January of 07' I took plunge and tore it down yet once again. After the last time of trashing an IFS front suspension and axle, I decided to say screw it and do my solid axle swap that I have wanted to do for quite some time. I will also have a page dedicated to the build along with a lengthy list of parts used, and what I did to get the project done to what it is currently. The rederings below are what I came up with a couple of months ago before the project ensued, and it is fairly close to what it is headed towards as we speak. There have been a couple changes and improvements to the end product, but still close all in all.

...take a minute or 20 and have a look at the pics and descriptions of what was done as the project continues. I am currently revamping my whole page so pictures and descriptions will more than likely be added on a daily basis.

Nice attention to detail man. You've put a lot of work into the truck and it shows. 5 stars.
