Trav199's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Went camping a few years back and came home with this on my trailor. My mom thought I was crazy but my dad saw her potential.

Bought it for $200 off some guy that used it as a parts car.

It was pretty much stripped of everything.

All the parts I bought from a local speed shop. Everything was special ordered.

Harwood 4'' Cowl hood. It's still not on and I might just sell it and keep the car original looking.

The car was sitting on my dad's rims from his 85' Camaro. Took the originals off during the body work.

Got the engine in too. 454 crate motor bored .40 over with some bolt ons.

Keep up the good work! When you get a chance please take a look at my 69 Pro-Street Camaro. We just finished running in Pinks All Out and now Im entered in Texaco Car of the Decades. If you like my car please do me the favor of voting for it in the contest. Right now a Smart Car, Pacer & VW Bug are leading? I need all the help I can get! texacocarofthedecades.com

Wow, this was a nice little "story". A 69 Camaro for $200.00 that somehow turns itself into a 68 camaro with an automatic factory shifter on a "muncie" (saginaw) 4 speed. Then the 69 interior also changes to a 68, dash included. And like magic it all changes back to a 69 again in the last pictures. This kid needs to do a little more research next time before telling stories. For those of you who still do not understand you are looking at 3 diffrent camaros.
