I bought this Gem in May of 2000 for $200 off of the dealership in front of the shop I work at.When I got it, it was 3 diffrent colours Red White and black. The Red and white were brush painted on with tremclad!HA

I drove it for 1/2 a year just the way it was, (minus the tremclad)and had a lot of fun with it all summer all I did was put a sony xplode CD player in it.

Then all hell broke loose at the end of the summer.I took it to a car show about an hour away from where i live and the steering box snaped off the frame!I spent all day fixing that and managed to drive it home. The car club putting on the show even gave me a free T-shirt cause they felt bad for me.

Then next weekend I was pushing my luck and drove it to Wateloo Ont. 2hrs away from where I live and the linkage in the steering colmn broke so I couldn't start it.
I got a ride home and came back with tools a week later to hot wire it.Drove it home with no brake or sinal lights OOPS!

After that I took it off the road and did a lot of preventiative matinance and some prefomance upgrades.Trips to the parts store were always a treat.I went and ordered most of my parts...Got home..none fit..took them back.. Reordered parts making sure to specify That Magic "R" and because it was a "350R"..Everything seemed to cost $50 more!

Love your exhaust I did the same to mine with out headers though. Wasn't worth the price to horse power ratio. I'm still undecided on tips though. Check mine out.
