I picked up this old bird in the Spring of 2008. I owned an '86 TC and loved the car but after having been banged up in two wrecks (not my fault) I parted with the car. Twenty years later the TC bug was back and this car was just 30 miles away. MUCH rougher than I had wanted or imagined I picked it up anyhow and proceed to get it back to runable condition. Orginally the car was in VERY rough shape as you can see from the pic below. The nose was punched in, clutch was out, freeze plug blown in the back of the block and tires where trash.
The taillights were cracked or broken out and the interior reeked of years of smoke. After a few hundred bucks and lots of cleaning the car was back on the road. A new header panel, bumper inner lights, taillights, tires, clutch, freeze plug, a bunch of interior parts and more the car was usable.
