who-nxt's 1989 Ford Mustang

Here's my daily driven '89LX 4-cyl coupe! Has the bone stock 151,000 mile 2.3 backed by a rebuilt AOD tranny and 7.5 rear end. This is how the car currently looks. I love Fox body coupes! I'm torn between dropping in an '88 T-Bird Turbo Coupe 2.3 engine, or putting everything from my '86 LX hatchback (built 351W/C4/4.30-8.8) in it. It would be a shame to let a 4-cyl Fox coupe stay stock, wouldn't it? LOL!

who-nxt's 1989 Ford MustangAmong my many dreams of this car would include a "Viper-Spec" T-56 6-spd behind a 408W with AFR 225 aluminum heads, Maier Racing 1.5" flared fenders and quarter panels, 17x10" CCW "Classic" wheels and Maximum Motorsports "Maximum Grip Box" suspension/chassis. <--This particular dream would easily exceed $15K and still take another $7-10K to finish!

who-nxt's 1989 Ford MustangAs it sits, bone stock with full interior, etc... and a full tank of gas, the car weighs 2760# w/o driver(I add another 260 to the total!). It would be nice with a built 250-ish horsepower 2.3 turbo, OR a 600hp 408W...personally I think V8 Mustangs and Flowmaster mufflers go together like peanutbutter & jelly!

hey...i was wondering if i stripped a turbo coupe... what parts could i put in/on a foxbody mustang? i've build 100's of mustangs & always wanted to build a 4 banger 5speed mustang...my neighbor junked a turbo coupe that i had my eye on...it was in his garage for years & sold the house & new owners junked it...i would've bought it...they got $200. for it...car looked clean too...anyways, in the passed i dropped a full kmember with engine & tranny, exhaust, wireharness, struts wheels...everything etc.. & wheeled it over to another car & dropped the body down on the k-member & bolted everything back up....was wondering if i cound do that with a turbo coupe & a mustang? do you know? svo's are rare & pricey...2.3 mustang are so cheap & i like how light they are...i would build a capri body with mustang gt bumpers & body kit turbo coupe 5 speed with 4 wheel disc....years ago we build a gt40 cobra body capri it looked so sick...i'd like to copy that as cheap as i can...don't have the money i used to burn...lol thanks http://www.youtube.com/user/capecodcuda
