K-Dawg406rs's 1998 Volkswagen Jetta

I bought the car and my dad put a clutch in it for me, it has the 2.8 vee6 a bose factory stereo system, leather interior alloy wheels and all the other GLX goodies. I have since removed the bike rack and I'm toying with ideas on where to start modifications.

Current mods:

-Bright white headlights and new headlight buckets

-Stage 1 Black Forest Industries Poly motor and transmission mounts

-Kenwood 50x4 headunit

-Polished the upper portion of the intake and removed the engine cover and hoodliner

-Billet Crack Pipe from gruvenparts.com

 

Replaced:

-Headligh bucket

-Clutch

-Shocks

-CV axel

-Motor and Transmission mounts

-Sway Bar links

-Ignition Coil Pack

-Tensioner and Belt

-Front Strut Mounts

-Lower Ball Joint

-Thermostat, T-stat housing, and all related O-rings

-Front Water/Crack Pipe

 

Next on the list:

-Wheels and tires

-Replace front door speakers

-Single sub and amp setup

-Re-die shifter and e-brake boots

-Golf front clip swap

-Replace all caps(engine oil, coolant tank, power steerin) with billet pieces 

-Finish replacing all coolant fittings with billet or brass pieces

-Supercharger?

-I'm sure more is to come

LOL I did clean my engine so thstd why. Im gonna take the bearing out and re pack it.

Hope they gave you a nice trade in on it. Dam wish I could have bought those seats off you lol. Did your Tensioner and Serpentine Belt make a sqeaky noise when you started the car on a cold start. Mines doing that. And until the car idels down or warms up alittle Im hearing something maybe electrical runing really loud. And if I shut the car off while its doing it. It sounds like a Turbo spooling down. Not sure what it is cause is hasnt affected anything.

I have two beams per headlight. The outer lights (meaning right side of headlight)and the inner lights (left side of headlight). Regular beams are on the outside which you can see in some of my pics and high beams are on the inside. When i switch to high beams. The right lights shut completely off. So four light set up i think. You should get on vwvortex forum and see for sure.
