..I bought this van in may of 2004. It had been sitting in a field for 15 years. I immediately went to work on the interior. The van was also painted with 5 coats of Lacquer house paint of course, which took me 2 solid weeks of sanding off the paint with an industrial grinder..I had also found numerous dent,s hole's that where replace with some sort of funky paper. I bonded all the dents, and replaced the holes with 16 gauge mild steel. I did quite a bit of research on this van, and found that it was ordered by bell telephone in the 1960.The bell vans came with the removable front passenger seat, that was on a swivel, easy to remove if you wanted to haul 11 foot plus cargo.  Also most econo van come with the nylon door stop. This van carrys a spring steel door stop that has a 2 stage stop ,and open, very cool. I haven't seen any other vans with this set up, or have I seen any other bell vans! This van since being the first of the econline series of vans did not have the ribbed roof, which made for a noisey ride. I solved this problem by caulking the roof, support ,and cross beams with caulking foam. The problem was solved, and she is now a quite, and pleasurable ride.  This van has the 144, 6 cylinder, 85 horse, 3 on the tree, with the crash box transmission, which is very fun to drive.(real men double clutch) I have replaced the stock front bumper with a 65 heavy duty, and from what I can see,I only need to get the original side mirrors. By all rights this van is completely stock.
