Regretably I sold this car back in 2004

and I want it back!

I built this ride in 2002 in about 4 monthes at a friends shop StyledMild in Kansas City.  I tried to keep the lines very clean and sutle.  Over the years of owning this amazing ride I went through roughly 5 different sets of wheels ranging from the stock 13's to the 18's in these pics.

Everything from the firewall forward was modified.  Fenders and CF hood are VIS, full Wings West poly body kit and whale tail w/o wiper, blacked out headlights, corner lights and custom taillights.  We shaved door handles, gas door and relocated filler to drivers door jam, rain molding on roof, rear wiper and washer nosle, and antenna.

Engine mod where extensive.  The car started life as a 90 hp 1.5 liter automatic.  First thing I did was 5 speed conversion.  Then I purchased two unknowingly blown 1.6 non-VTEC motors.  Finally I came across a rolled 92 Integra LS and did a full swap with some bolt ons.  DC Sports 4-2-1 header and cat-back system with OBX cat, full MSD ignition sytem including 6AL box, coil, cap and rotor, and wires,  and cold air intake system with K & N air filter, JDM tuned B16 computer. removed power steering as it came with the Integra and not a CRX, and I removed the A/C to free up some more power and weight loss.  As for the transmission also from the same donor was the LS tranny with Centerforce Dual Friction stage 3 clutch and Centerforce 11lb flywheel, and a short through shifter to top it off.

The paint is Lexus IS300 Graphite with a silver marble ontop which when the pics are working you can see the marble on the hood.

I'm sure there will be things that I have forgotten that was done to the car.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm having trouble loading larger pics on this page but if you would like to check them out please look at page 5 on my Eclipse's site.

The pics keep cre-arranging on their own, every time I look they change so I put a description of what should be there.  I'm trying to fix this. Again look at page 5 on my Eclipse ride.  Also if the pics dont match the description try blowing the pics up larger.  That might work.

WOW! You've got a unique looking REX, Russ. For starters very innovative with the relocation of the gas cap very clean look would never have considered the door frame location. What gave you the idea to locate it there? Anyway the color scheme great choice Lexis graphite and silver marble accents nice touch. The tail lights are unique and would like to see what your interior looks like. Cheers for now, my friend and great job.
