This is how my truck started out, bone stock, rusted out cab corners, grandpa steps, but a tried and true 350 small block, backed behind a B&M Built 700r4.
Then I bought some new cabcorners off Ebay, got to work and cut them to fit.
Paint Stripping came next, i did this with surface reconditioning disks on my angle grinder, then i went ahead and started welding the corners in.
Then the body work, and alot of bondo came in.
After all the body work and welding/grinding was done, it was time to prep it for primer. To do this i sanded the whole body down with 120 grit on my orbital sander, then wiped it all down with acetone, and a Tack Cloth, then shop some PPG Epoxy Primer.
After blocking out the freshly primed box, i set the box back onto the frame, and started on the cab, finished spraying/blocking that, then moved on to spraying the base coat. GM Paint Code 90, Dark Grey Metallic!!
Then came the clear!!
Then from this point, it was crunch time, i was almost done!!
Then it was complete :D :D :D !!
After all that was complete, i installed a Rough Country 4" Suspention lift kit, and 33x10.5 BFG All-Terrains.
Then came some pinstripe i layed myself.
