My Papa orignally purchased the truck Brand new in 1997.When I turned 16 he gave it to me for my birthday present. The truck was in good shape when he gave it to me but it just was not my style. So I stripped all the molding off it, got a smooth front bumper, a paintable front grill, and a roll pan. But that just was not enough so i got some black Euro tail lights, blacked out the front lights, dropped the rear 2 inches so the truck would sit level, and put some custom tribal flame grphics on it. ALl that was still not enough so next i am going to drop the truck some more and put some 22's on it.

The 4.3 Vortec makes 200 hp @4600 and about 270 ft. lbs @ 2800... not bad for a V6.
I installed a Cherry bomb exhaust to gain some extra horse power.
From the door to in front of the wheel well was all caved in from a wreck that the previous owner was involved in. Me and my father with a hammer and dolley smoothed the metal back out.
You don't get that far Muddin in a 2 wheel drive with stock tires.
