This is a pair of XKE's I bought from "The Artist of Las Vegas", the man who painted all the murals and foe art you saw in the Casino's in the early years of Las Vegas. The 64 in the foreground is the Jag he drove for decades, the 66 in the background was his parts car; both will be restored now.
The bonnet was a little beat up, or so I thought, I had no ideal how many stress cracks these cars could get. Smashed brazed and filled, after clearing the plastic filler, she took me a month to weld back together, and beat back into some sembolence of shape.
Starting to look a little better, but still a long ways to go.
