I first installeed a nice Sony Frontloader as well as a new custom backboard and 6x9's. I had a 12" Sony Xplod sub in the back and a 4ch 1000w calibra amp running the rear.

I told my self that would be it. I don't need to change anything...

But that soon changed. The moddifying bug bit me, and it bit me HARD.

My first real mod to the car was fitting a stock filter box but with the sound deading and excess crap removed. drilled a few nice holes and bobs your auntie.

The next thing was a sequential BOV. just to get the whoosh sound :) and a few more benifits.

Then came the Jap style back box.

Now this is where the story gets interesting...

The car has been driving without a problem for the first six months. and then murphy shoved a big stick into the works... Driving from my hometown (Hermanus) to Cape Town disaster struck... was driving normally, boosting past golf's and corsa's and for some reason my car started to feel sick... boost will drop off at random. and then nothing... no boost at all. I hoped it was just a boost pipe that came loose or someting small like that. Bt to my dismay it was the turbo.

It died on me because of a damn blocked oil feed line! F#@$
