welcome to my page! here's the story behind the car. i bought this z a couple of weeks ago for a means of getting to and from work. i have a 2009 scion xb but i thought id be nice and let my fiancee have it to get her and our daughter around town while im gone. i was looking for a cheap dependable car with decent milage as my investment but those are hard to come by. all the 240's and civics i looked at were all ragged out and had rediculously high mileage. i found this car on craiglist and the guy who owned it only lived 5 minutes from my house. (saved me a trip to look at another z over an hour away.) the car is an 88 300zx with only 132,500 miles, and to my surprise it had all the paper work on it from the factory and the original window sticker in the glove box. the sticker was advertising the fuel injection option. remember, back when the car came out that was the new thing. in my opinion the car is in great shape for its age. the wheels dont even have marks on them from being scrapped or curbed. i really like this car and plan on keeping it for a very long time. im notorious for having a car and selling it within the same year. i just turned 20 and ive owned 7 cars. im not the son of a rich family so ive bought all my own cars. ive had a trans am, 2 camaros (one was a ss), civic, prelude si. and now i own the xb (xbox), and the z.

the only flaw to the car is the rust spot under the tail lights. its just surface rust so shouldn't be to hard to get rid of.

i added the pedals and changed the shifter boot and knob (which i changed back to the original today, the knob kept coming loose and the boot didnt match the rest of the interior)

like i said, all the wheels are in great shape to be 21 years old.

z all wide eyed!

there's the motor, the most important part of the car. it has a cold air intake on it (couldn't fit it in the pic cause the support arms that hold up the hood were shot out so i had to use my other hand to keep the hood from crushing my skull) but no worries i repalaced the support arms today as well.
thanks for checking out my ride, let me know what you think! ill have more pics up soon
