My Daily Driver//
It all started out being envious of a friend's new Charger. A couple months later I picked up a LIMITED Linen Gold 300. Threw on some 35% tint(808 Tint, Honolulu) and got some Flowmaster 40 Seies(DJ's Motorsports, Waipahu). I was at first stoked to hear the rumble of the new Flowmasters but I needed to feel more of a performance gain. I never knew the difference exterior wise between the V6, V8 5.7's and the SRT8's. So after 6 months of the LIMITED, it was time to up the ante and trade it in for the bigger V8. So on the way home it came to me to see if I could trade it in for a HEMI. So after the deal was done I drove home in a new 300C 5.7L HEMI.
I was still stuck on the bling type mindset so I was chroming out the grille, got the chrome B pillars(autotrucktoys.com), and got the Incubus Overlords. After a few months it was time to change up the body so I picked up the VIP Edition Bodykit from 22Elite.com. After a few conversations with James about the shipping dilemna we were good to go. *Shipping to Hawaii is a pain. No joke. Got the LSD Doors from Highhorseperformance.com. So, I thought I was almost finished. Looking at the stance it just wasn't sitting right with me. I was riding a little to high on 22's. Saw a member on the forums selling their short used Eibach's for the low so I grabbed those before it was too late. So now, I'm still blingin' with some beat in the trunk.
I got tired of the bling the new LUXURY SPORT is my theme. Got the stripes done at Modern Image in Mira Mesa, California. That job probably had one of the worst patience ratings. I waited about 7 hours while they stuck the vinyl on the ride. After it was done, thoughts about the wait went out the window. That was the beginning of the sportier look. I did the DIY deep dish grille with black mesh to open up the front end. This around the time VIP300C.com became a vendor on the forums and they announced the Mad Eye Lids. After I put those on I started to phase out the chrome on the front end, painting the chrome bumperettes color matched. I still have a few chrome pieces to color out, i.e., side mirrors, rear bumper, window trim.
