This is  R & D Cycles first build!!!

I built this beast for my friend Nick . It's a 1981 Honda GoldWing GL1100 that I'm turning into a Cafe Racer.

Started out with this, a stock 1981 Honda GoldWing GL100 with Vetter fairing.

Ripped the ugly fairing off stripped the bike down to only what it needed. Fabricated the headlight brackets.

Painted it flat black, put Z-Bars on it, fabbricated the tail light/plate holder, custom turn signals front and rear, cut off the 8" mufflerized tips, ditched the fiberglass front fender, replaced it with a chrome one, ditched the rear fender completely, all that is left is to replace the ugly seat with a cafe racer seat.

Took off the ugly couch of a seat and put on the stock seat from my 81 CB750F Super Sport. Looks a 1000 times better now. Bike is almost finished. Only needs bar end mirrors, smaller tach/speedo, rear sets, and a custom made corbin gunfighter style seat made from the stock couch seat pan.

I think it looks a 1000 times better then it did when Nick first brought it over. Don't you?
