2009, March 15

This is my new old car, a Rover 3500 P6B V8 1971, a lot to do but that's the point I think.

No brakefluid in cup, filled it up and got little brake

Engine runs, but only with choke activated, could be that at least 11 year old petrol, it's dark yellow and smells awful, clean up gas tank

Bad interior, track's of mice's

Bad electrical system, nothing work's in dash, just tachometer and amperemeter, need wiring diagram

Very little rust, just find a little hole in batterybox in lid, should jacked it up today, maybe more rust under...

...Took out all carpets and isolation, NO RUST at all, amazing! And nothing under the car either...

2009 March 28

Autobox, BW35 3-speed is not working so good, gears are delayed, specially 2-3. Checked kick-downwire's adjustment... more to come

Great job .. my rover P5 is just as you described yours ,... just mine has a lot more rust wg=hich means more fun with the resto then....
