blklblsk8r16's 1986 Chevrolet Camaro

This is my 86 camaro in the process of being painted. In this picture my dad is sanding down any of the runs in the base coat. Its been a while since he painted a car so there were a few. Next step... clear coat

Here is the finished paint job. it has a few runs and a few spots were the primer is trying to show through but overall, its one of the best driveway paint jobs ive seen. (The white spot on the fender isnt a flaw its just a glare)

This is the motor i currently have in my camaro. The car came with a tpi 305 which i took out and put in a carbed 350. its a nice motor and pretty fast. the motor has an upgraded cam. (not sure how big) a holley 650 double pumper and a few other small upgrades. i also had the 700r4 tranny rebuilt and had a shift kit put in it. it will spin 1st and 2nd, which is good for an automatic!

Here is the 383 stroker motor im about to put in. Its further along than in the picture but im still not quite done. It has keith black hypertunic (or however you spell it) pistons, eagle rods and a forge crank,  a melling cam (not real big, a little bigger than a z28), performer rpm air gap intake, holley 650 double pumper, stock 91 cast heads with a valve job, and thats all i got so far. Its not real mean since it will still be a daily driver but i also plan on putting a 175 shot of nitrous on it.

I dont have any pictures of the interior yet but plan on seeing them soon because i gotta show off the jl audio 12's. haha

i finally have the stroker motor in!!! i just have to finish working out the kinks and do a little fine tuning and i will put up some more pics!

ya so the stroker gave out on me.    :(

it threw a rod through the block so im going back to the 350
