(1)Intro (2)Exterior (3)Interior (4)Stereo (5)Engine (6)Other Interests (7) FOR SALE

To start, this is the headunit I had running my system: Alpine CDA-7065. This unit as well as a lower model my wife had suffered the same failures. I no longer recommend Apline head units. I replaced with a Clarion. Here is an image of both units.

More recently, I sold this Clarion in another Maxima I was driving while this car is down. Therefor, I got some much needed help from a fellow Maxima.org member who I obtained this current Clarion. It is a much older model, but still works perfectly! Came with an external electric EQ.

Notice the Apexi AVC-R boost controller installed just beneath the stereo.

For those who wanted to see pics of the stereo. Here you go. These pics are taken with a low resolution digi-cam. I apologize for the "cloudy" quality.
Comp VR's

Alpine V12's The box is custom made with each sub settled at each end with an opening between them for wiring, an extra battery, and a capacitor. I have a bridge for the amps to make them look as one. I also have a wall I have to carpet and install so to finish the job.

You can just barely see the Kicker Comp 6x9's above the box.
Here are more receant pics of my progress on the trunk. I have built the wall for the amps and the new floor. I need to carpet them both and will provide images soon of the completed task.

You might notice the slit in the wall located to the left of the amps. Since it is so diffictult to insert an entire stretch of wall required to cover the length of the trunk, I made the portion to the left of the amps hinge. The section is folded so that it can be inserted into the trunk. Once positioned in place, the section is folded back flat so that it looks like one section. You can just barely see the crease in the carpet where the piece hinges.
Here are some pics of the completed carpeted trunk and wall. Much Better!

Much cleaner! Plenty of room still available!

I have also recently installed a neon in my trunk.

Why? Well, the primary reason was because the light for the trunk is now behind the wall and I can't see in the trunk at night! Well, and the bulb was free!

There is even enough room for my Tool Box!

Diamand Audio 4" in stock bose boxes and tweet mounted in door.

To Come: Plan to have trunk completely fiber-classed and new CD player. Will update images when these changes occur.

I assume you have one of either car which has some damage. I would say "No" they will not match up given my understanding of the clear difference in body lines (ie headlights, doors, tail lights, side markers, grill, etc). In my numerous years of working with Nissan and the 3rd gen, I've never heard any body parts will interchange. But, I could be wrong or like anything, if you are just wanting to swap, with enough modification you can make about anything fit. Consider R33 tails in various vehicles, BMW headlights on Maxima and other cars, custom body kits for various cars installed by your regular garage mechanics on whatever they've got they believe that "honda" Grnd Fx would look "cool" on.
