Interior: I have made all attempts to minimize drastic changes to the interior such as "painting" and adding switches everywhere.

Here is an updated image of the new PLX A/F Guage replacing the Autometer one. Guage is black and blends in better with the panel where the clock used to be. Image also shows new Clarion Stereo. The AVC-r is still visable as well.

Here are images of my recent upgrade to Leather Interior. Picked them up for free off a fellow Maxima.orger! Great Shape!

I utilized the stock driving light switch for the new lights. I installed the push button ign. in place of the cigerette lighter instead of making a hole somewhere or mounting the button in an awkward area pertruding down from some area of the dash. I also placed the Air/fuel guage in place of the digital clock above the CD player.

I installed the AVC-R (electronic boost controller)below the stereo in place of a compartment that I rarely used. I painted the custom metal trim panel around the AVC-r black to match the dash. The only other area painted was the greying turn signal and wiper switches.

A single addition that is not visable is the installation of a tri-colored LED bulb for the Ungo alarm system. There is a small opening that looks like a vent on the trim piece to the left of the stereo. I installed this LED here so that it could be visable to myself and to a theif but, primarily so that I was not cutting holes or causing damage to my enterior.

I assume you have one of either car which has some damage. I would say "No" they will not match up given my understanding of the clear difference in body lines (ie headlights, doors, tail lights, side markers, grill, etc). In my numerous years of working with Nissan and the 3rd gen, I've never heard any body parts will interchange. But, I could be wrong or like anything, if you are just wanting to swap, with enough modification you can make about anything fit. Consider R33 tails in various vehicles, BMW headlights on Maxima and other cars, custom body kits for various cars installed by your regular garage mechanics on whatever they've got they believe that "honda" Grnd Fx would look "cool" on.
