About the car...

I purchased the S2000 you see here with the intent of building what I consider to be the ultimate track car.  My motto has been to keep things simple!  No crazy turbos or radical motor build.  The motor has been left largely untouched with the only changes being those aimed at improving reliability.  Instead of trying to add power my focus has been on improving the vehicle's suspension and aerodynamics as well as reducing weight.  I have used NASA's TT/PT rule-set as a guide.  In the car's current iteration it is a TTC/B car (depending on how much ballast weight is added).  I'd like to think this is the way Honda would do it!  

Modifications...

Suspension:

- AST custom shocks

- AST spherical shock mounts

- 700# Hypercoil Springs

- Saner 1.25” Adjustable front sway bar

- SPC Adjustable upper ball joints

- Forged Work Emotion wheels (17x8.5 Non-Staggered)

- 255/40/17 Nitto NT01’s

 

Brakes:

- Spoon Monoblock Calipers

- Carbotech brake pads

 

Exterior:

- Amuse R1 front bumper

- Flaired/Pulled OE fenders

- Mugen Hard Top

- Voltex Type-II wing

- 12” and 15” risers for wing

 

Engine:

- Asura Design baffled oil pan

- PMA baffled catch tank

- Mugen low-temp fan switch

- Mugen low-temp thermostat

- J’s Type-V intake duct

- Spoon air filter

- Turn-down exhaust

 

Interior:

- Recaro SPG seat

- Schroth 6pt harness

- Momo Mod78 steering wheel

- Hard Dog “Hardcore” roll bar

That's cool with the boot... what height is the wing at atm? trying to decide between the one that lines up with the roof line and the slightly lower one... dependant on roof height i'm guessin? You just putting a feed back into the sump from the catch tank? Think the BMW M3's had a similar system to this...
