After Months of work.... here she is!
So where to start?? Ah hell, I'll just do some before and afters.
Here go's!
Alrighty, I suppose a run down of the work that was done. First off, the tail lights. Custom built one off L.E.D. pod tail lights, shaved the emblems and trunk key hole. Fabbed up, painted and assembled by me. Also, if you look closely... you can see the back up lights up under the lip of the rear bumper.. Slick... I know. Second, The Engine swap. Granted it's the same engine that this model came with but I added and subtracted a few things to give her a bit more pep. I had the head Bored and ported, had the turbo rebuilt, rerouted the B.O.V. and of course the 'Go Fast' paint job on the engine that added 1000 horses....yeah thats right... 1000. I also deleted the A/C system, compressor, lines, cooler...everything. Then when I was throwing the engine back together I realized the A/C pump acted as the tensioner pully....DUR! So I ended up fabbing up a new system for that.
See! Tah Dah! And it works fricken A amazing!
Along with the new engine, I threw in a Stage 1 Exedy Clutch kit. The old clutch wasnt very happy anymore so i decided to retire it. HA.
Since I was on the war path of trying to get rid of everything on my car that said 'Ford'... I went and robbed an emblem off of a Mazda MX6 for the engine. Muhahaha. Now the only place my car say's 'Ford' is on the title. HA! *wonder if I can get that changed??*
Well, so far thats it for this year. Stupid Minnesota and the fricken cold. Im moving to Florida! But anyway, next years plans are Body Kit and Paint job. I've got the body kit but Im still undecided on the paint and what style I should do. Any idea's are greatly appreciated! But Hopefully, by this time next year my baby is going to look like this.
