My NEW Track Car:
In 1999 Corvette came out with a Fixed Roof Coupe (FRC) version for it's body styles. The FRC was only available in a manual transmission and with black interior. The main difference between a FRC and a normal Coupe was the back window and roof. The coupes have a large glass window in the back and a removable roof. The FRC do not have a removable roof and the window angles down right behind the roof. This design plus a few other chassis stiffiners made the FRC chassis 12% stiffer than any other C5 Corvette and also made them the lightest at 80 pounds lighter. The FRC's were only made for a year and a half and only 6121 were producted. In 2001 the Z06 was put into production. It used the FRC's body and added a 385 hp (later bumped to 405hp for the 2002-2004 cars) and a stiffer suspension.
I was intending on putting a fully built Forged 442ci. LS-7 motor that will make 700+hp normally aspirated into my C4 track car but now that I have the C5 FRC the motor will be going into this. I also have a set of Corsa Titanium exhaust without the secondary mufflers that will be going on...this is a very rare great sounding exhaust that is super light and was only produced for a short period. Once the full roll cage is added I have a set of Moton C5R 3 way adjustable racing shocks with remote reservoirs, billet mounts, dual rate springs, ect...and a bunch of extra suspension stuff.

For the road racing track I have a set of CCW Classics with Good Year racing slicks:
