Upcoming races:
For 2009, I attended North Suburban Sports Car Club’s driving school March 21st.
In addition, I instructed at The Learning Curve driving school on April 4th & 5th.
I also race indoor Go-Karts to keep my driving sharp when the weather’s bad.
I will be competing in the full Chicago Region SCCA schedule of 8 races, and I will be interning for track design at the last race of the season. Finally, I will attend the Central Division SCCA Championships in Milwaukee August 1st & 2nd.
This year, the Salt Creek Sports Car Club schedule conflicts with SCCA, so I will be attending 2 of their events, and various club events, and Milwaukee SCCA events in between the Chicago SCCA races for an overall total of at least 12 to 15 races.

Why should you sponsor Tony Cambio and The World’s Fastest Scion?
Because people notice that little black Scion. It is the only Scion regularly autocrossing anywhere near Chicago. The car is an underdog. People think it’s cute. Nobody expects it to go fast, and when it does…people notice.
There are very experienced and successful drivers who have ridden in the passenger seat, and occasionally co-driven, and step out of the car with huge grins on their faces. It catches the eye on the track, and on the street. This is no trailer queen – The World’s Fastest Scion is street-driven every day. You would get double the exposure of most race cars!
The car received its nickname “The World’s Fastest Scion” last April in The Learning Curve driving school. My instructor won Street Touring S in my car, shocking a lot of people in much faster cars. He taught me that the fastest driver, not necessarily the fastest car, wins. I will again be attending The Learning Curve this April, but will be giving new drivers the encouragement and knowledge that I have learned. I will be sharing that at the school & throughout the year.
My wife and I actually have matching xA’s. Hers is a grey ’05 & mine is the black ’06. Yes, that’s kind of sappy. At least they’re not the same color.
2008 was my first full season of autocross, and I earned a year-end 2nd place in Salt Creek Sports Car Club, and 4th in SCCA Chicago Region. I regularly beat cars with more power, with my “100 Gerbils of Fury”.
The goal this year is to polish my driving, and to continue tuning the handling and performance of that cute, FAST little black car, The World’s Fastest Scion. The modifications done over the off-season are proving to be successful. I want an SCCA Chicago Region Champion jacket. And I intend to get one.
My sponsors are welcome to use me & my car in advertisements, local public appearances, and shows.
