1998 Honda Civic I bought used from the 'lil old lady from Pasadena. She had it VERY stock, and it did sit outside, so the paint was quite faded. After two buff jobs with polishing compound, two with polish, and two coats of wax, it really cleaned up nicely. A little bit of engine detailing, window tint, a new stereo/speakers, and 16" Kazera wheels/Yokohama tires, it is a respectable ride. It will never be a rice burner, but I do plan on at least a cold air intake and Anso muffler in the near future. 33 mpg makes it a great car for that 85 mile commute to the airport.
