Here is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula. This is the third Fiero I have owned. Prior to this, I owned a '84 duke and a '87 duke. This is my first L44 V6 Fiero. I also currently own a '86 Fiero GT to go along with this one.
Although I removed all the decals on the car the RPO sheet does indeed show a W66 option meaning that this is a Formula, 1 of only 5,643 for 1988, 1 of 1,303 painted in white for '88.
I am on Pennocks Fiero forum and have been there since Feb. 2002.

A good shot showing the 'Formula' decals removed on the Fiero.

Got the front badged up and looking good.
I know the front badge is not the correct one (it's supposed to be silver and black), but this badge is from my first Fiero, so it's somewhat like a memento. Also the gold Fiero badge is the one people tend to associate the Fiero logo with.
Also tried to restore the sail panels, as they were faded real bad. They turned out okay - better than they were.

A good engine shot after I cleaned it up a bit. Car is equiped with Rodney Dickman's dual strut kit, FieroStore poly dogbone, and poly mount bushings.

At the moment, the plan is for the Fiero to be a 'budget' build. The suspension is being built up and prepped for weekend auto-x. I don't really have a ton of money to blow on the car, but I do have a few plans for it. Including in the future possibly:
- Restoring the stock wheels back to their black face / polish lip version. Completed! Check out page 2
- Rear deck lid scoop. Probably going to source from a Mustang.
- Headlight mod. I've got an idea for a mod similar to the low profile Hella headlamp bucket kits, but making them even lower and using Camaro style headlights. I'm a fan of pop-up lights so they'll stay on regardless.
