Taking Delivery
1955 Spyder 550s 1300 lbs 160hp. Very old school, no top, no heat, no air, skinny tires. You sit on the floor and it takes great effort to extract yourself from the seats. All gauges in metric so I am learning to convert on the fly.
This is one fun car to drive, as its so light it handles very well.

Afternoon Drive
The Spyder will allow you to throw out the backend at will with a flick of the steering wheel or with the addition of enough power through a corner. Or you can allow it to drift with all 4 wheels with enough entrance speed and limited additional power. It will push when you have really entered the corner with to much speed, but if you brake the backend becomes light and it will transition from understear to drift to overstear quite quickly, allowing you to control the car again with the throttle.
It puts a smile on my face everytime you push it through a corner.
